There are some other kind of chairs known as recliners that also don’t quite require wheels. Recliners are mostly comfy as opposed to a standard office chair with wheels. But, there’s a downside too. I know there are lots of suggestions thrown out there on the most comfortable chairs, but comfort really is subjective and differs for everyone.If you're looking for some of the more A grade type chairs comparable to Herman Miller or Steelcase, I recommend checking out some of our Humanscale chairs, such as the Freedom chair here. Something to keep in mind is that with the top of the line chairs you're paying a higher price because of the ergonomic features designed into the chair without a lot of the manual levers and such you would have to adjust on many other lower priced chairs. Many are usually just as good, just not as fancy.
